CnC 3 and KW freeze upon hitting Online menu

I was hoping there'd be a fix for the problem described in the thread linked above. I should note that the game freezes for about 4 or 5 minutes and then proceedes to throw an error my way: "Cannot connect | Unable to establish a connection with the Kane's Wrath servers. Please check your internet connection." 

 
Games are hooked in the launcher
Normal game edition.
 
Log is as follows:

Can you please check the in-game settings whether there's an IP Address set in the Network options.

 

Also, please make an firewall exception for the game you've tried to play.

I've already added Kane's Wrath as exception to the (advanced) firewall; I checked (with a internet traffic tool) the connection of KW and there is some traffic inbound and outbound.

 

In-game under Settings/Network, my own internal IP address is shown as Online IP; I cannot select or see any other IP address there.

That's good, that means the game does recognize your LAN connection.

 

Though, it's strange why it continues to give that odd message.

 

Can you please check if you have an SPI-Firewall setting in your router. It should be somewhere in the Advanced settings.

 

It's a try worth to see if that's possibly blocking something.

I have looked at this in the log. You are actually authenticating and then there is a system error. Please could you try logging in with a different OnlineID (just make up a new one, and if that is in use, try a different one) and report back.

I never get the chance to log in. The game freezes when I hit Online menu and after a really long time gives the Cannot connect error:

I've never been able to login before either afaik.

 

PS: Sorry for the big ass picture.

PPS: Red Alert 3 seems to work just fine.

I just did. First Red Alert 3, which works fine, and then Kane's Wrath.

 

Edit: I tried CnC 3 right after, same error as in KW.

OK, thank you.   This is a strange one because the attempts to log into TW and KW are not showing at all from yesterday, which is unexpected because the game (KW, at least) appeared to patch correctly.   Can you check your PMs please.
