Update: Apparently the same error pops up if you don't put anything in the online id section as if you had typed in one that's in use. Problem solved.

Dear Community,
I recently purchased RA3 from Steam and wanted to play the coop mode. It throws an error saying that it is already in use.
"Why aren't you checking pinned threads?"
Because the solution there helps if I had an account on Gamespy previously. I didn't - I purchased RA3 just couple days ago.
Any suggestions?
