Help: serrious error

Hi

I recently purchased the Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection to play the game of my Childhood Command and Conquer Generals but whenever I got to launch the game I get and Error that pops up saying "You have encountered a serious error. I got a cnc online acc and also gentol downloaded the new one! Thanks!

You are best asking that question here (it is a problem with one of the text configuration files, normally I think); Gentool Support Forum.

What version of Windows are you using?

 

A serious error upon starting the game is not too uncommon. I've experienced it a lot with trying to run Generals on Win10.


Please! Please! try Windscribe free VPN to see if it fixes all of your ZH-Online connection issues!

You shouldn't use the C&C:Online launcher to launch Generals or Zero Hour.   If you are playing only those games, you should unhook and uninstall the C&C:Online launcher and install GenToolWhen you have done that, you just launch the game from its ordinary shortcut.     If you are using the Ultimate Collection, you should install this first; C&C Ultimate Collection Launchers.

I`ve downloaded ZH again and also gentool but nothing changed can t start the game.. I really want to play it! Can someone help me to fix it?
