Hello,

after login into my C&C online account, I noticed that the server password is apparently saved unencrypted.

Are there plans to change this? Is there any reason for this being the case?

PS: I don't want to sound ungrateful or harsh. I'm grateful that you provide your great service, even more so for free.

Regards

The games themselves require the password to be supplied in plain, encrypted text so they are always going to be insecure.    There is not much we can do about that.    That is why we recommend that the game password is not used for any other account.

The passwords on this board (that you use to log into this site and the C&C:Online web site) are encrypted or, more properly, stored as hashes.
