Hi Everybody !   

 

I was thinking about two things in ROTWK.

 

I woldlike to know:

 

- How Can I reamove a Faction from Game or Rename it ?

(I mean, when we start to play, in game we can choose a Faction)

 

- How Can I remove New Hero Creating* from Main Menu in game ?

 

I will be glad, if somebody can help me for this.

The first step would be looking on www.the3rdage.net on how to setup a mod, once you have done that, you can make changes in the data/ini/playertemplate.ini (located in the Ini.big file, so you will have to look at how to add this file to your mod, which you can find on the forums here and on the website i mentioned) and simply change the "PlayableSide = Yes" to "PlayableSide = No" of the faction which you want unplayable.

As for removing the menu button, that I sadly can not help you with. It is doable, but you would have to edit the APT files. This however I have not done recently, and I'm not that involved in the modding scene anymore to refresh that knowledge.
