So I was just wondering, if its been said officially, or speculation otherwise, but is the campaign just gonna end with the foehn origins and with a cliffhanger, or will there be a resolution. I always liked to think the soviets and allies would be devolved into the 3 foehn subfactions: Americans and LC becoming haihead, russians and Euro alliance forming the wings of coronia around the paradox engine, renamed the coronia, and pac. front + china retreating to Alaska and forming last bastion.

No, there's going to be a 12-mission Foehn campaign at the minimum for Act 3.

 

It's easy to miss, but there's a page somewhere that confirms this. I don't remember which page on the MO website or ModDB said this though, which goes to show how under the radar the announcement is to players. But it's confirmed that a Foehn campaign is coming, at the very least.

It's the newspost that revealed the Foehn in the first place. The post mentioned that they don't want to commit the same mistake Westwood did with Yuri's Revenge, so Foehn will obviously get at least a 12 mission campaign.

There are also likely cooperative and covert missions planned as well, if I am not mistaken.

Act 3 is most likely Foehn versus Epsilon, considering that the Allies and the Soviets are all but defeated. Definitely a large presence of MCed Allied and Soviet forces will be involved.

Question is, would there be an Act 3 for the Allies and Soviets, or just Epsilon and Foehn?

From a development time perspective:

 

I think Foehn at bare minimum. Epsilon if we're lucky. Soviet and Allies, never.

 

At most, I'm feeling like 3 missions for Allies or Soviets can be added to Act 3 before the story gets bloated, maybe as a Prologue to Act 3, showing some Soviet and Allied survivors trying to survive against an Epsilon regime before being rescued by Foehn.

Honestly I'm curious if there are going to be different endings (as in who ultimately wins) for each faction, its been consistent with all four so far.

Maybe. I mean Foehn literally started as Baneposting gone out of control, but it lost that thread well ago...

Not even sure if you were playing or at least checking in that "spoiler" section, but all campaigns interconnect so there is no different endings atm
