Hi, today I tried playing some Generals ZH. Haven't played it in awhile, reinstalled the game (origin) and reinstalled GenTool.

I keep getting stuck on waiting for probe response and after that the timeout "couldn't connect blabla...."

I've already checked and alot of the solutions in the forum but I cannot seem to get it working at all, I used to play just fine awhile back.

I'm running Win 10

I've changed my firewall settings and turned it off, didn't help me
I do not use a AV apart from Windows Defender, I've tried with realtime security off.
I disabled IPV6 to force use IPV4.
I've set compatibility for all the executables and run as administrator.
I've tried everything in this thread and almost everything in this video.

Try using Windscribe.

Please! Please! try Windscribe free VPN to see if it fixes all of your ZH-Online connection issues!

You shouldn't use the C&C:Online launcher to launch Generals or Zero Hour.   If you are playing only those games, you should unhook and uninstall the C&C:Online launcher and install GenToolWhen you have done that, you just launch the game from its ordinary shortcut.     If you are using the Ultimate Collection, you should install this first; C&C Ultimate Collection Launchers.

I have a VPN, sadly this made no difference.

I thought lets try that VPN just incase, after installing it and making a free account I ran it connected it, seems to work fine but when I go into generals it wont let me login. With my own vpn I do not have that issue.

I tried it on my other internet connection (different router aswell) and everything works fine on that, so it has to be the isp..

But I don't know how to fix this, any ideas?

I do need it to work on my main line aswell..

Your main line might be an IPV6 connection, while your other is an IPV4. I suggest contacting the ISP of your main line to ensure it's also IPV4.

(Zero Hour's P2P sometimes has issues dealing with IPV6, being that it is an old netcode)

Thx for your reply, however as I stated in my first post "I disabled IPV6 to force use IPV4"

My ISP gives me both an IPV4 and IPV6 address.
