Hello guys it's been a while since i have played bfme2 but lately i have started to tweak it again and i was wondering if it is possible to edit somehow what the "Allow Ring Heroes" rule does. My problem is that i made my ring heroes trainable like any other heroes cuz i can't use the ring fuction of the fortress due to the fact that i placed in fortresses a "horde of archers" in order for the building to fire more arrows and it seems like the fortress doesnt have space for the units that carries the ring to go in and deploy it. Sometimes i dont want to see ring heroes on the battlefield but sometimes i do and i was wondering if i can toggle them on and off with an ingame option. Any other solution is welcomed.

Wasn't it some Upgrade_RingHero that enables the ring hero to be built?
Otherwise there are worldbuilder scripts that could do it, but that would need to be done for every map...

I didn't find any map scripts or data scripts allowing building the ringheroes. Could it be in libraries or bases folders?

The rule just enable the spawn of gollum on the map and it's hard codded you can't change it
the best would be to fix your fortress contain thing by removing the archer stuff or by trying to add more slots or stuff like that (look in the fortress code)

In the libraries folder I believe you can find the gollum spawning scripts, not entirely sure anymore though, it has been a while since i looked at that.

I have managed to do so by creating a script to allow me and the ai to build the ring heroes and a script to grant me the upgrade_ringhero if the allow ring heroes rule is checked
