AI wont attack gates on castle maps

I have a problem, even tho AI is building siege units like rams catapults etc. it wont attack the castle gate closed or open. I think it considers the gate an enemy cuz very rarely a troll or catapult hits it once but then it stops and just hangs around or leaves the area.

 

After some more testing it seems like the AI as the attacker dont want to enter into the castle even tho the gate is opened it enters only if baited with some hordes and the rest of its army waits outside for some reason. If i have my gate closed (i think it works even if its opened) and just wait inside castle the AI just builds its army and waits in base

 

After even more testing i have found out that this problem occurs in bfme2 vanilla as well but its fixed in rotwk unofficial patch 2.02 (dont know if it is fixed in vanilla as well)

 

Im using SEE mod if that helps.

Advice on how to figure out what they did, look at the maps, and look at the door object's ini, that's probably where something is changed to enable the ai to attack the gates.

Other than that I don't know what changed, maybe someone else does.
