Are ai units stronger then mine?

there are many times i saw ai units deal more damage then mine.Like ai tyrants wrack my base easily(without rage) but my tyrants cant do the same.It seems ai units have more health and deals more damage.

I am using version 3.3.4(latest version)

Most likely explanation is veterancy as the enemy veterancy is hidden from you. Those stronger units were probably promoted. A change i did not really like (nor understand why it was done) as it makes judging your chances of winning battles significantly harder. Vet 1 units have 40% more surviveability which is pretty good, so not realising a specific group of rhinos in the campaign is all promoted can result in some misjudgement.

Don't they have 1.1 or so damage multiplier on hard difficulty in the .ini file(s)?
I remember hard, medium and easy difficulties have different pre-definied modifiers such as training/buildingspeed, rate of turn, damage, etc. in the rules file.

Seeing the enemies' veterancy level is not neccesary (in my opinion), because of the same reason you don't see their production line - you don't have to see everything it would make the game too easy and predictable :D

In vanilla, easy, normal, and hard AI had different multipliers for the ROF and survivability of their units, amongst other things. In MO, if I remember correctly, all such unit modifiers are set to 1.0 ie: the normal value.

Certain units, that the AI has, are actually clones of the player controlled version with some modified stats though.
