patch 2.02 do that already for heroes
it's not possible to code it for units (it won't display the correct damage after forged blades upgrades)
you need to add or uncomment that line if already present in the code of your hero
DisplayMeleeDamage = XXX
(XXX is the damage set in weapon.ini so it can be or a number or a macro from gamedata.ini)

Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anybody knows how I could get the game to show how much damage is dealt by units and heroes in the game in the same way it was done in BFME 1?
