I installed RA3 yesterday and downloaded the patches as described in the setup page.

I was using the game version on the Origin platform, and when I tried to start the game it kept showing the following error message:

There seems to be a problem contacting the licensing server. Ensure your internet connection is active and try again in a few minutes.


I thought this was the problem with the origin so I installed the steam version of the game.

However, the C&C launcher could not detect the steam version of the game. Are there anyone able to help?

I'm having the same problem launching from steam using the hooking instructions. I know the hooking is working, the game startup window opens, then the message box in OP's screenshot appears.

Im also having the same issue.. any way they can sort this out? 4 people unable to join your server..
I downloaded cnc online revora put in command inside steam on ra3.exe i open game inside revora and get the same outcome like above everytime.. i cant play the game atall. Only way i can even do skirmish or campaign is by deinstalling the game and taking the patch away

I went inside regedit.. and found my cd code went through the process of retyping ny cd key through Ra3.. and on steam i as i said i put command Ra3.exe so it could find the revora cnc online patch

But no joy... and i have ran out of ideas and makea me wonder if i need to add ports to my router. Which is a direction i didnt want to have to go down

I had the same issue what i found out is that I already had the updated patch i bought the collection on origin it was already patched. so to fix what I had did I uninstalled everything reinstalled from origin launched the game to make sure its working then exited.

I then installed just the C&C online app NOT the patch! and set the hook in the C&C online and closed. I then launched in origin and it correctly launched the C&C app I pushed red alert3 button and it loaded it takes a while so be patient and do not keep clicking the button.

I was then able to login to servers and see other joinable games. However when I tried to play my son who has same setup but his own installation we get to the launch game after he readys up it says trying to connect to cohost but unable. So closer but not yet I remember reading that there was a special patch for the collection version still researching!

Problem with launching C&C games goes back in awhile, personally i got Origin version of C&C:TW3 and kanes wrath, just tried couple of days ago with new updated version of origin but it still refuses to launch, origin status message shows playing while game is not even loaded up to the memory, unistall and install origin and C&C games didn't help.
