I am trying to play with my boyfriend on the same network but it keeps saying connection failed 1-2. We tried turning off the firewall, putting in our IP address but keep getting the same issue. Any solutions?

Hey, so I'm not sure how to resolve the issue permanantly, but if this is holding you up from playing here's what my friends and I found out: Apparently there's a bug where two people can't play online from behind the same IP address (two people on one router). so I had one of my friends in the house they share in Philly use a VPN to change his IP and try again and all three of us were able to play tgogether. This however was only temporary as the VPN trial expired quickly. Still looking on a more permanant fix for this.
