this was what showed up.

When is it occurring.. before the main menu comes up OR as you are loading the map? If the former, the warnings.log will show what the issue is but if its the latter you need to remove any RGD you may have edited and use the "process of elimination" methodology to see which of your edits is causing the CTD.

yeah before the main menu. and what i posted was from the resulting warning log. i can't make any heads or tails from it. usually its just a fatal error which i can easily fix but this one just stumped me.

I know only a few CTDs that give no warning.

One of them is the FORMATION extension in squads.

See if it is properly put in your squads. The engine is TOO finicky with its format, so be careful!

I do not recall any other at the moment.

Alternatively

So if you get no warning, then the ONLY other way to resolve this is to:

1] Make a copy of your attrib folder.

2] Create a new attrib folder, and start adding the entries you created/modified one by one - adding any possible requirements, of course. For example if you add an entity, you MUST add its weapons and abilities.

3] Each time you add something, start the game.

This is (I think) the only way to see which file causes the issues.

Once you isolate it, then with te same procedure, start modifying the extensions one by one.
