When you buy banners for anorien soldiers/archers/spearmen and then combo with an unupgraded battalion the combo horde gets auto level 3 once you change formation. Works for other factions too. Westfolders can both have banners, still works. In wotr this bugs their leveling progress however, so whenever you formation a non level 5 at the beginning of combat they loose all progress to next level
