In most fortress maps as defender you can’t keep your troops from rts battle. Only isengard and minas morgul give a random assortment of the troops you created to choose from, by no means all and again totally random. Sometimes archers sometimes melee or any combination you can think of. Never all, nor is it predictable. 4.1
