so me and my friend both download lotrbme2 we did the same install we can create a server but when one of us trys to join the others server we get unable to join user is using different version

you guys probable have different patch versions. If you guys want to play with each other make sure that everyone has the same patch. For example everyone needs to have patch 1.00, 1.06, or 1.09. If someone has a different patch than the host then it wont allow you to join.
