Account Authorization Email Not Received

My wife is attempting to create/register an account. After entering all the account information she received the "an authorization email has been sent" message on-screen but has not yet received the authorization email.  We have refreshed the inbox multiple times and refreshed the browser multiple time and still no authorization email has been received.  Also, there is no "resend authorization email" button or link.

To anyone experiencing non-receipt of the account activation email, and you are using GMail as your email client, check your "Promotions" folder.  We had checked every folder in my wife's GMail account and this morning she asked, "what's in Promotios?"  She checked it and, lo and behold, there was the account activation email!!  I hope this helps others who have been frustrated by this same issue.
