Hello,

 

I installed BFME2 set it up and all up to patch 1.0.9 provided.

 

The issue I get is connecting. If I switch to patch 1.0.6 I am able to login but if I am using patch 1.0.9 it doesn't work.

I am a programmer so I have fair knowledge in pcs, and I checked the connection thread and followed it (the only thing I didn't do was port forwarding but since it worked with 1.0.6, that is not the issue).

 

I am using a no-cd game.dat file, the one provided in the pinned connection issues thread.

Anyone experienced same issue and found a solution?

Found the issue.

 

For anyone reading this, to me the game.dat file was blocked by windows since it was found online, just unblock it.

Right-click, propeties, and unblock on the bottom, then apply and ok
