I hope this remake is far better than the one in 1984.

 

But then I have little hope for Funcom developing Dune games without the assistance of former Westwood developers from EA and Petroglyph. Tencent wants a piece of the company and Funcom's more interested into multiplayer. Currently Funcom is developing an open world multiplayer (probably a MMORTS or MOBA) Dune game like as if it's Generals 2 and End of Nations all over again.

Since this movie was supposed to release in december last year, I wonder why there is no poster? Also, still no second trailer.

I guess the time isn't there yet for WB to release a 2nd trailer.

I assumed they were gonna make a poster with the ensemble cast posing similar to Blade Runner 2049 but this looks even cooler, a symbolic use of the desert of Arrakis:

I hope they put these character portraits into good use. I also hope that Dune will become an event film similar to LOTR.
