Hi all,

New user here. I'm currently having issues with C&C Red Alert 3 on Origin on Windows 10 64bit. Originally I had the registry issue which I resolved thanks to this site but I couldn't find anything on this crash.

 

I've been trying to get the online function working with little success. The C&C program works fine and launches the game with no problems, once the game is ready I try to log in and just as it is about to move on it crashes the game to desktop. The C&C online program remains running with no issues I could see. I've attached the error log which I assume is the error code.

I'm having the exact same issue, did you ever managed to fix it?

i think you are having the same problem like i have in my Steam Version of CnC RA 3.

Maybe it has to do something with our non-standard path? In our two installations i see the same issue. We didnt install it on C:

 

Maybe there is some connection to this issue?

 

I will try to install it on C: later in this evening.

Do you use CnC online?

Youd normally want to run cnc online as administrator and make sure that you dont have any antiviruses hindering the process as well as correctly completing the hooking procedure

1. If you have cnc online open, close it before doing anything else.

2. Not necessary, but in some cases it helps, disable your antivirus.

3. Open steam/origin, and create a shortcut for your game.

4. Open CNC Online and hook your game, then close the launcher.

5. Now double click the shortcut you created, it should take you to the cnc online launcher, and go from there.

Did anyone able to fix this? I am having the same exact issue. Tried the steps above and non of it worked. Please help

please make a seperate topic detailing your problem, any errors you get and where you have the game from

Got it from origin as well and not hetting any error message, just crashing right after logging in to gamespy using my c&c online account. Same exact issue as the author
