I have already uninstalled and installed the game again and looked for some fixes but nothing has worked so far. I would appreciate any advice on this bug.

If you are still wondering how to fix it.
For me it worked, by hooking BFME via T3A app.
Then start the game from HD Edition (the one with one ring as an icon) as an administrator and it goes to T3a and launch from there BFME. It works perfectly for me.
