[Generals Zero Hour] - "Cannot connect to Zero Hour Online"

I have been playing Generals Zero Hour online without issue until today (last time I played was a week ago).


Now when trying to login to the online secion, I get the error message "Cannot connect to C&C Generals Zero Hour online"


Version: Ultimate Collection, Origin (v10.5.70), Gentool 7.9

Error: "Cannot connect to C&C Generals Zero Hour Online", at the point of logging into the online section

OS: Win 10

VPN: NordVPN (same error with our without VPN)

Log file: no C&C error log in /temp folder


Nothing has changed on my computer that I am aware of. I see others seem to be having a similar problem over the last few days.

I had the same issue yesterday. After changing the resolution to another one it worked for me. I also had a bug with no sound when I was turning to WIndows and back in the game later. Both problems has been solved when I switch the game reslution in menu. I have no idea why, but it worked for me multiple times :-)

not working for me... :( did you change it in game or from the ini ?
