Hello, I'm getting the cannot connect error for both Generals and Zero Hour. I downloaded the games off the internet (not steam, and not ultimate collection). The GenTool overlay displays for Generals but not Zero Hour (for some reason GenTool is only downloaded in the Generals data folder and not Zero Hour as well) However, I'm getting the same error for both games. The error is "Unable to establish a connection with Command and Conquer Generals servers. Please check your internet connection." I have also checked my IP address in the options menu and it starts with "192.168.."

Also, here is my windows powershell output.

ComputerName : peerchat.server.cnc-online.net
RemoteAddress : 185.17.144.132
RemotePort : 6667
InterfaceAlias : Wi-Fi
SourceAddress : 192.168.0.111
TcpTestSucceeded : True

I have C&C online downloaded because I use it to play Red Alert 3 online. Generals and Zero Hour are unhooked on it though. Not sure if this was something worth noting but I thought to mention it just in case.

EDIT: I've also read somewhere about changing the resolution, but that didn't seem to help either.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I've managed to copy the d3d8.dll file into the ZH directory and got GenTools to appear when I load the game. No luck with fixing my connection issue though.

I'll post updates about what I've tried to do while waiting. I've tried port forwarding as shown in the image here:LDJJ6fu.jpeg

(I set it to 27901 in the options menu ingame ofc)

When that did not work, I tried to use my VPN to connect. While it produced a second IP address, using that address to connect did not fix the problem. Please advise.
