I personally think it would be a good idea to add a timer for victory, like add 30 minutes or more timer when the game starts, and if the time expires, the fortress player is victorious. I suggest this because in almost all fortress maps, while you can still play 1 v 1, it's usually more in the team opposed to the fortress player like Minas tirith.
Which would make it way too hard for the fortress player to both defend but also have to clear all the enemies outside their fortress in able to win.
This can benefit both sides as it would make the players opposing the fortress to not camp all day as well as make the fortress player just focus on defending the fortress as I think all fortress maps should be.
Please tell me your opinions about this!

Fair enough. I think the best alternative would be to add handicaps if a fortress player is against multiple opponents. Thanks for the answer!
