You must check the "Shadw" box in w3d tools to have shadows on the building model.
You'll also need to separate your level 2 and level 3 upgrades to different objects and check "hide" box in w3d tools for these.

I must check the "Shadw" box in w3d tools, but the shadow never appeared...
What else could it be related to?

If this is BFME1 you must also make sure the structure ini code has the line
Shadow = SHADOW_VOLUMEin the Geometry settings section.

Help with the shadow is still needed. Who knows? I can give you a model. Maybe someone will succeed?

Responding to Daedra Warrior, what do you mean by "hiding" stuff in W3D Viewer? I'm currently trying to figure out how to see upgrades for structures in that program. If anyone knows how to do that, please let me know!

why cant i save in the ini.big file as it just makes a new file to save somwere else
