Can't Log into Online on Red Alert 3 with "Could not connect to the backend server"

Hello, 

 

I was playing Red alert 3 quite a while ago when all of a sudden i couldn't connect to the online servers to play, so i gave up and stopped playing it, i was using C&C:Online with the same account i have now and i am using Steam (Same account as before) to run Red Alert 3.

 

I have uninstalled Steam and C&C:Online and reinstalled them and i still cant log into Red Alert 3 online.

 

When i played it originally with C&C:Online the first time round i had no problems, I set all the accounts up and it worked perfectly and then all of a sudden stopped working.

 

I have tried using my C&C:Online username & my email (how i logged into online originally before it stopped working) and it always comes up with the same message "Could not connect to the backend server".

 

And its still not working when i have come back to play it now.

 

If anybody knows how to fix this problem i would appreciate it a lot if you can post in here for me.

Pareil pour moi jai creer un compte c&c online et ça me dit ( Registre corrumpu ou modifié) pourtant sur le site ra3 il y a du monde en ligne merci de me renseigné pour que je puisse jouer en ligne

Hi, I have the same problem, I get the error "Could not connect to the backend server" when I try to log in. I did everything according to the instructions I found on the internet. Is there a solution to this? I was browsing the forum topics and found no answer anywhere.

Had this problem as well. I waited for a really long time and then it ended up working though.

t's the same here with me when I try to connect RA3.
It seems that the game is trying to connect to GameSpy which is no longer active.

I bought the game through Steam, does it matter that I can not get online?

Download C&C Online https://cnc-online.net/en/download/

 

Then install and play :o)

If you are getting the backend server error, then that means you either need to forward the correct ports for the game or try using a VPN like Windscribe. A way to test that would be to run the NATNegTest under the "How to report issues" thread.

 

If you are getting the error after the game waits for a bit, then that means the game wasn't hooked correctly. Please make sure that both your game and cnconline.exe are set to always run as administrator.
 

If you are getting a Registry is Corrupt error, look at the pinned topics detailing that issue.
