House Color Textures Tutorial Request

housecolor

Best Answer OneV, 13 August 2020 - 10:38 PM

I was asking how to create an actual texture in Photoshop, so that I could choose which parts of the texture would change color. Anyway, I figured it on my own with the help of that tutorial. Thanks for the response.

Hi everyone,

I see that there is already a tutorial on 3rdage.net (https://www.the3rdag...?apage=409#page) on how to create a housecolor texture. But the images there seem to be missing.

I was wondering if someone is able to re-upload those images or create new ones. It would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you!

Go to data\ini\multiplayer.ini and add something like this. you can change the RGB values to whatever colour you want:

MultiplayerColor ColorCyan
  RGBColor = R:92 G:181 B:171
  RGBNightColor = R:92 G:181 B:171
  LivingWorldColor = R:41 G:255 B:255
  LivingWorldBannerColor = R:92 G:181 B:171
  TooltipName = Color:Cyan
  AvailableInWotR = Yes
End

Hello!  Been a long time since I've dropped in!  I'm glad my tutorial was of some use to you even without the images.  For anyone else that wants to use it, I've dug the screenshots off my old PC and re-hosted them, tutorial is back to what it should look like.
