hi all

 

My friend and I want to play against bots without money or how to get a lot of money. We love the high level of difficulty, but 50,000 is not enough.

Sadly, the devs decided that free money for bots was a good idea, and ruined all economic crippling strategies. It sucks ass. I know.

What you can try:

Find GameOptions.ini file (it's located inside Resources folder) and open it with Notepad/your text editor of choice.

Scroll down until you find this section:

[cmbCredits]

OptionName=Credits
Items=50000,40000,30000,20000,10000,7500,5000 // just change it to a bigger values and save the file

 

Make sure that your friend's file is identical to yours. I haven't tested if it would work in MP, but feel free to try, at least it SP it does work.

Honestly it feels stupid to give bots the ability to cheat the higher the difficulty This plagues on ever RTS game I know.
