same issue for me, i followed instructions and keyed in email, password for server and nickname, then it says connecting to gamespy and then after about half a min the error shows "Could not connect to backend server"

I tried to open the C&C:Online program and clicked the red alert 3 button but it just re-opens the game and does nothing.

you need to use your activated cnc online account to log in as well as launching the game through cnc online for which you need to make sure that the hooking procedure is done properly this applies to both of the poeple in this thread.

1. If you have cnc online open, close it before doing anything else.

2. Not necessary, but in some cases it helps, disable your antivirus.

3. Open steam/origin, and create a shortcut for your game.

4. Open CNC Online and hook your game, then close the launcher.

5. Now double click the shortcut you created, it should take you to the cnc online launcher, and go from there.

Also a side note for the author of this thread in this line "D:\New folder\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3\RA3.exe" -ui" you can try to remove the " symbol or speech marks on the right and have the code look just like "D:\New folder\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3\RA3.exe" -ui

Other than that if youre getting connection problems after following these steps then please do the connection test https://forums.revor...report-issues/ and post if it was a success or not here
