Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone could help solve a connectivity issue I'm having while trying to play RA3 Coop on Steam. Me and my brother are trying to play coop so we are using the same router. We are able to login successfully and join each other's lobby but when we go to start the game we get the below error. We've turned off our firewalls and removed any AV but are still getting the error

"Connections are in progress, or connection problem detected. Please wait for the connection to finish, or kick the player who has the connection problem.

Failed Connection:

1-2"

We are both running Windows 10 2004

Another thing I've tried was to connect using hotspot to see if it was the router but got the same issue. I've had a look through some other posts and saw someone saying there's a port blocked so it could be that but I find it odd that we're able to join a lobby together just not start the game?

Any help anyone could offer is greatly appreciated!

Cheers

NAT negotiation works with your router and connection.
==> You do not have to use port forwarding.

Okay and now let your brother try it,

But from what i can see one of you needs a vpn in order to play together with your brother. And we recommend using windscribe

It's free :D

So that worked and we got into the game but the latency is very bad... game stops to buffer every few seconds. I know that sounds like a very stupid thing to come back with but since you were dead on with the VPN allowing us to connect I was hoping you might have had this latency issue as well?

Thank you so much though for getting me this far!
