hello friends 

 

so i have trouble connecting to c&c online 

i installed everything 

registered my account 

firewall connection to public

 

ComputerName     : peerchat.server.cnc-online.net

RemoteAddress    : 185.17.144.132

RemotePort       : 6667

InterfaceAlias   : Ethernet

SourceAddress    : 192.168.1.144

TcpTestSucceeded : True

 

 

but i still have trouble connecting online

I am also encountering this issue.

 

I have installed the Gentool software, I see the Gentool UI when launching the title as normal.

 

My IP shows 192.168.0.65 when viewed via the Network option.

 

The CMD prompt did show gentool installing onto the title.

 

I receive the online service cannot be connected prompt after viewing the checking for updates message for 60-90 seconds when selecting the Online Option.

 

I would love to join the Generals online community. Please help if possible.

i have the same issue but i could not get gentool to work can it work without gen tool?

same here gentool says its all updated 

but the zero wouldnt detect the online

and exactly the same problem here.

 

gentools sais all is up to date.

 

natnegtest sais connection is working and receives pings.

 

Ingame it sais it cant connect to server.

 

 

P.S.: very interesting fact: My Kanes Wrath works online.

could solve my problem. 

 

In my registry i had under MapPackVersion "10004"

 

When i changed that to "10000" it suddently worked.

I have the same problem when I go to online mode it said update available and when I klick ok it show that trying to connect with 65540_65536_english after a while saying “ could not connect”

I downloaded the v1.04 still the same problem

everyone with the checking for update problem should check if theyr game is the right version and if its a cracked copy

1. you might dont want to show your ip adress here btw 
2. check if you game is up to date and make sure that it is a legit copy

if you want to play generals and zero hour on the cnc online servers you will need gentool 

what exactly has gone wrong and have you received any errors or something?    everybit of information you give us helps us more

kanes wrath and zero hour are different games which both works different    you should also make sure that your game is the right version and a legit copy
