I had steam version but I uninstalled it coz I can't make it work. Now I tried a retail version of RA3. It works fine, but the moment I log in to on Skirmish>online within the game, it crashes to desktop. At 1st, I had an issue that registry has been altered. Got it fixed by putting the CD key on the registry. But now I can't go online because every time I sign in it, the game crashes.

Have you tried changing compatibility settings on RA3.exe?

 

That, and have you tried opening the game in windowed mode?

 

One more thing: since you're now using the CD copy of the game, is it patched up to v1.12?
