The C&C Online Install doesn't seem to have done anything. I've tried running the game hooked and unhooked, nothing changes. It still tries to connect to the Gamespy servers

Firstly make sure that you follow the hooking procedure and you could also run the game as admin:

1. If you have cnc online open, close it before doing anything else.

2. Not necessary, but in some cases it helps, disable your antivirus.

3. Open steam/origin, and create a shortcut for your game.

4. Open CNC Online and hook your game, then close the launcher.

5. Now double click the shortcut you created, it should take you to the cnc online launcher, and go from there.

where should I put the shortcut to let the C&C to open it? Or i misunderstood the process...

Its just refering to a desktop shortcut of the game that you should automatically get if using steam or origin, you dont have to make a new one, just using the one you initially had works fine

Creating a desktop shortcut worked. That's strange lol. Thanks!
