Hey guys,
Are there any resources available to host your own RA3 server? My buddy has the infamous port 6667 blocked by ISP and he's pretty computer illiterate and is concerned about setting up a VPN.
I thought if it's possible to host a server, then I could just get him to add a hosts entry to redirect to my server instead of Revora's and we could use any port we want. We aren't interested in playing with other people, just wanna do the coop campaign.

Unfortunately he can't connect to the cnc online server due to being blocked by his internet provider. Hence my idea to run the server locally.

His ISP blocks all traffic on port 6667 (and a few others) for "security reasons" for all customers.

The thing is if his provider is the problem the only possible solution is setting up a vpn that supports ipv4 like https://windscribe.com/ which is what we recommend. If you dont want to get a vpn set up and cant figure out the problem with your provider then there is nothing that we can do to help you. As for the server hosting, revora is closed source so it will not give any info on how to set up the server for the game and neither can i guide you through Possible solutions to this are either the VPN, changing the internet provider or playing over LAN.
