So Im having trouble starting Red Alert 3 with the C&C hooked and I've literally tried everything I can find online. When the game is hooked, it just wont start. Steam says the game is running, but I've waited for 20+ minutes without touching anything and it still doesnt start.
Ive tried running it the following way:

Start the launcher, hook it, and start via the launcher = Steam error 50000000 something
Start the launcher, hook it, close the launcher, start via steam = Doesnt start the game but says running
Start the launcher, hook it, Close the launcer, Start via shortcut on desktop = Doesnt start but says on steam its running

Ive tried to unhook and hook several times. Ive tried to uninstall the game and reinstall C&C online multiple times but no difference.

C&C online is installed on another disk than the steam installation. The Error log is completely empty. My antivirus and firewall is currently disabled.

I moved the full installation to the same disk I have Red Alert 3 installed and it made no difference. Game still just doesnt start.

After starting the game from steam, does cnc online start to not respond or does it close and nothing else happens?

i got the same problem, the cnc online not respond anything, if i stop hook, game will start

if the launcher shows not responding then just give it some time like 7min it should launch eventually
