Recently I have returned to C&C3 TW I have aquired around 2010 from a friend, who bought the game and gave me the files.
Been using it occasionally since then without any errors.
Now that I returned to it and wanted to play online, I followed the installation steps and after hooking and clicking to launch the game I got a message "C&C3 installation not found"
Do you have any idea how to resolve this trouble?

to calrify your Friend bought a legitimate copy of the game and gave you the files so you can mount them in a Virtual drive using your friends CD Key?

Yeah, he bought a CD copy. I don't remember the details about mounting, though. Think it looked more like: I copy files via USB (in 2 batches, since I was using a 2 GB (quite big at the time)), then simply launch the game.
If there was any case with the CD Key, I'm pretty sure I have asked him to share it with me.

Yeah..
I'm sorry but we are not allowed to support that as you did not acquire the game in a legitimate way or use your own CD key that came with a from you purchased copy
We have to follow a handful of terms of service and are not aiming to get hammered down by EA for supporting any form of Piracy on our domains

Hello i just bought c and c tw, i try to launch the game and it will not launch , WHY, insted it brings my to this site. i have made an account for this site and still i can not play the freaking game. my ? is WHY CAN I NOT PLAY THE FREAKING GAME I PURCHASED..... HHHEEELLLPPP ME PLEASE,( sorry about all the uppercase letters but im sure you will understand.

Hello i have CNC 3 on steam, i installed the patch, i would like created a game on the network, when i want to start, the network say to us
Not allowed to start, don"t have a good connection ping/...
But when i check on the game , my network icon is good
What i can do ?

this seems to be entirely different issue as discussed in the topic
could you make a own topic giving me a bit more information please?
