Rivendel heroes need big nerf

Hello everyone, i open this topic to discuss the hard hard potential of rivendel heroes:

 

- Elrond: The ability he gains lv 3 is maybe the most broken thing the mod has. How it could be balanced to add 100% additional armour already giving +33% armour +33% dmg to all units and with the other lderships?????  Moreover, if anyone thinks its not broken already, the ability increases its power in a brutal way. ONLY LV 5 HE ALONE BUFFS 100% ARMOUR, DEBUFFS OPPONENT´S ARMY -25% -25% AND ALSO NULLIFIES ALL OPPONENT LEADERSHIPS. And in case this hero seems to be weak (joke), he bufs his armour permanently a 50% and now resists knockback so that u can never kill him.

 

- Elladan & Elrohir: +150% dmg and +150% armour if they are together (they gain the double and a half of their armour and dmg if together, its insane), buffs other heroes hp recovery and powers 25% each hero. They also buff all kind of units with 25% armour or dmg.

 

- Aragorn: He is an amazing hero killer with lv 3 and lv 6 powers (with anduril sword he becomes too awesome), also buffs army (buffs heroes too with his lv 6 ability). He is with a big difference the archer hero with more armour and he provides athelas to heal the other heroes.

 

 

Also some very relevant things from the faction they belong to:

 

. Heroes high speed: Its quite quite relevant to appeal to the fact elf faction heroes have a default speed higher than the other ones so this makes them much better.

 

. Healings: The faction has its own healing power, but besides this, stuff like athelas or elladan/elrohir healing buffs makes no other heroes compete with them, even if they could be considered stronger in some way.

 

 

If u take a look at the buffs these 3 heroes offer by themselves its something totally insane. If opponent´s faction doesnt have a very very good herokiller thing such as bard or something like that u will be unable to deal their power. With very few elf units you can win amazing armies due to their buffs.

 

This topic is opened to discussion, of course, but i think its too clear and well known these 3 heroes need a big nerf.

I'm seeing from your posts that you are overestimating strength of buffs in this game. Many other heroes have comparable temporary buffs to Elrond's like Dain or Bolg for example. Important point here is that buffing hero alone isn't worth as much since it relies heavly on units surrounding it. That's why most expensive heroes are primarly damagers with big aoe attacks and Elrond's big buff is there to help him justify his price, since as fighter he isn't that good.
This is also his single power while other heroes, especially for his price, have much more to offer. Even mentioned Dain can boost his troops and debuff enemies by greater amount.
Similarly in case of Aragorn, he isn't great archer hero - he has lower range and damage than other range heroes for his price and thus he is primarly being used as fighter among community, for what he is priced well imo.
As to rest of the point, we adjusted some of that stuff already.
