I am trying to launch Red Alert 3

 

I use Windows 64bit and I have Red Alert on Steam.

 

When I launch the game I get the following error message: 

 

 

Application load error 5:0000065434

 

 

I have seen in other threads there may be a fix available via DM.

Our research has revealed that “Application Load Error 5:0000065434” tends to occur if the game installation is not in the same folder as the Steam installation. In this case, you can fix this error by linking the game files to Steam using Command Prompt or placing a copy of Steam.exe in the game’s destination folder.

Or you can move the game to where steam is installed. I did so. When you open Steam, go to steam-settings-downloads-library folders in the upper left. It's done here.
