Hi there. I am having troubles launching RA 3 through the client. I simply get the message "Unable to Launch RA 3".

I am on a WIN 10 system, with the game through the EA Launcher as the Ultimate Collection.

I've tried, and seemingly managed, to install the launcher fix but still it gives me the same error.

Anything more I can try?

Sadly this is an ongoing problem that we are yet to find a fix for.

I also have this problem.

"Unable to launch Red Alert 3"

Running version 1.12 from the Ultimate Collection on the EA store, used to be called Origin.

Also... After that. Tried connecting with a friend using Radmin VPN, through the Multiplayer -> Network (LAN) and we couldn't even find each other there, either. Tried Radmin in other games like RB6 Vegas 2, just to verify that it was working, and it works perfectly, but not C&C3 or Red Alert 3. There is something wrong with these games in general, I think.

New fix has been found for this problem, you need to set the RA3.exe to run as admin (in compatibility mode) and apply the following fix https://bibber.eu/downloads/cnc-ultimate-collection-launchers/

I found that, thank you. It did launch the game, but unfortunately I was already working on the next problem "unable to connect... etc" .... to solve that, I made all the .exe files run as admin, in the compatibility tab of properties. I was able to login and see other games! Took all night to figure this out, but hopefully I get a chance to test if an actual game connects and plays.

I tried this but it didn't work. I set RA3.exe, RA3Launcher.exe, and EA Games all to run on admin mode. I downloaded the fix and I ran the installer. I ran c&c online on admin mode but I still get "unable to launch Red Alert 3"
error

You only need to run RA3.exe as admin, hook the game to cnc online, close cnc online then run the game directly from ea app.

i have the ultimate collection from Ea app and tried all of these solutions but when i start the game from the ea app or the .exe file it self

the ea app pops up a message saying (an error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later)

BTW the game when i open the game normally from the exe RA3.exe it opens up a luncher to choose between RA3 or RA3 Up rising

Try to reinstall, that helped for me. After fresh install apply all the other steps

Idk why but doing the same proccess again seemed to have worked, i think you are not allowed to have the ea app open.

to describe my steps, fresh install of ra3(copy the the cdkey that is in the ea app for the game and close it when you have it), set the ra3.exe properties to admin (not launcher), install the patch (make sure to paste the cdkey if you get prompted for missing keys) start cnc online and hook the game and then close it, start ea app and launch the game, cnc online will appear after you select the version in the launcher, click ra3 and wait, it should launch eventually and lobbies should be visible after login.

I'm Not able to delete my message (Or I don't know to do it), so I fully edited it, to paste my solution steps to the problem

1 - Repair the ra3 game in the EA app (go to game list, right click, repair game)
2- Close the EA store (maybe unrequired, but EA can be listening to executables, I don't know, just do it XD
3- Go to https://www.gamerepl..._-t1013524.html and download it, replace your RA3.exe BUT DON'T RUN
4- Go to http://par.nofate.me and upload your  ra3_1.12.par which is inside Drive:\GamesFolder\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3\Red Alert 3\Data , then replace your local file with the one you get generated from that website, then run RA3.exe (NOT the launcher), if the game launches that's a good sign  :) ... if the game opens EA app ... something went bad
5- Go to https://bibber.eu/do...ction-launchers and apply the patch
6- Install C&C online, open and click hook, then DON'T RUN THE GAME and after the tick is marked, close it
7 - Go to Drive:\GamesFolder\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 and launch ra3 launcher RA3Launcher.exe (it should by default run as admin, as the patch applies that also, as far as my testing has been able to find)
8 - From that launcher choose RA3, then your C&C Online should open, and it's safe to run the game
9- HAPPY MULTIPLAYER!!!

Small update to those steps from Kevin74 (thanks!!!): Skip the par part in #4 and just run RA3.exe. I didn't have the par file as mentioned (perhaps something has changed since March?) and EA didn't launch before or after I launched RA3.exe by itself.

This seems to be a universal problem, as the same happens to me with the disk version.
Is there a fix for the retail game?
