commandos 2 : what is the code in mission file that make the theief move and run faster

hi everyone i hope you all good and lucky

in commandos 2 i want to edit the mission files to make the flowing changes if anyone can help :

1- what is the code in mission file that make the theief (RATERO) move and run faster than the others.

2- i managed to add more than one knife to the diver to use them to throw the knife to kill the enemy but the knife items appears spreated in the inventory and every knife takes a block in the inventory so is there any way to make all knifes compined together in one block in the inventory.

I think it is impossible to do unless you modify comm2.exe

 

There is a cheap way to change speed, you can create the commando with the speed you want and change the skin and abilities to other commando. For example in NM05 there are 2 green berets, but the one with driver face run as driver ´s default speed.

 

In BEX I created an infinite knife, you could try to understand the code, when the knife exit of diver´s bag it teleport back to his bag. It is supossed to be a knife with a chain, as you can see in the new sprite, you can hear the noise of the chain everytime he pull knife back.

how i change the commando or driver or sniper crawl and walk and run speed what is the code for that.

what is the mission name there is no mission name " new sprite " what is BEX i installed DP from ver 2.0 to 2.6 it has 541 missions there is no mission called " new sprite " and the folder \missions\BEX has BEX1.MIS i could not figure out what is the code for infinite knife ?, could you please till me the code that creates an infinite knife.
3- how to extend the sniper scope distance to shot from along distance ( editing a mission is fun )

4- how can i make all missions in DP mod is easy as the original men of courage for example :
a ) disable the enemy from alarm if sees a bottle or cigarettes and go to pick it up and not ignore it and not triggering the alarm.
b) make the alarm sound that the enemy trigger only for the reasons as in original men of courage not for any reason because i enjoy the game when i complete the mission but in the easy mod of DP its so hard for me so i wish that you make the easy mod to be exactly as original men of courage and the hard and the very hard mod for expert player.
is it possible to a write a tutorial showing hiw to modify commandos team abilities, add itemes to the bagback, modify enemys light and dark green view i want your tutorial beacause you have a great experience in moding commandos 2.

1 It is impossible to change default speed. Create token comando If you want comando speed. token ratero If want ratero speed, any other for normal speed.  Switch skin and abilities to make it looks like other commando.

 

2 The password for play BEX is BEXCC. The name is [BEX1] HIIDEN TREASURE <BY BANGOTY extrano1955>. In BEX1.MIS search CUCHILLO=\cknifechain, copy everything related to it.

 

3 It is impossible.

 

4 a) That is not a main rule. You should modify every single enemy that does that in every .gsc

4 b) The alarm is not a main rule. You should modify all .mis

hi extrano1955 , i realy appreciate your concern and time for replying, really thank you for your help in moding commandos 2 game.

1- the mission [BEX1] HIIDEN TREASURE starts with no knife so i wanted to try the infinite knife that you created so i choose the white death mission in the HL.MIS i add your code but when i throw the knife it did not go back to the bag by itself but i have to take it as the usual knife did i missed something.

2- what is the code that make enemy not shot instantly when see anyone of the commandos team inside the dark green area of enemy view but give him a time to go back ( the blue line of view instead of red )
3- what is the code that trigger alarm in MIS file to disable or change it.
4- could you till me the missions that have new map not moded maps from men if courage.
5- when i make the resolution of the game above 1024x786 the mission objective text book is so small i can not read it is there any way to make the text lage in that resolution.

1 In Bex you can cut .TOKEN CUCHILLO=\cknifechain and put in the .bichos ( ) of token lanchero

2 Better dont change it, you can set in DATA/PARLGLOBAL but it will affect all missions

3 This is the default alarm code

To make this code works you also have to create the zona exterior in .zonas() and .zonasflotantes()
4 Therare are houndred of missions, check yourself. You can check all passwords in missionlist.pfd or unlock all using comm2p.exe
5 Test all resolutions yourself, you have to restart game everytime you change. Maybe smaller resolution is the best, you could see things bigger

in the PARGLOBAL.DAT i found the code that delay enemy soldiers time for shoting when they see anyone of the commandos team.the codes are

but this code affects on the soldiers with gun and rifle only what about soldiers with the machine gun how do i delay the shot time for them is there any way to do that in the PARGLOBAL.DAT or MIS file and what is the code for that.

I dont find that setting. However I don't recommend to change main rules of the game. The official mod wont change the rules, change it for your own mission will affect the design of the other +500 missions, they could became impossible to win or too easy.

Delete or change the name   \DATA\PARGLOBAL.DAT.   Back to easy.
