online

If you're sure you installation is correct, then you might be experiencing a network issue. You can use this guide for troubleshooting common network problems, or try using a VPN to see if it can resolve the problem (as some network issues like your ISP blocking connections to C&C Online's servers can not be resolved without a VPN).

Hello guys, I am a 36 year old nostalgia hunter, looking to relive some of my countless hours spent raging on generals and zero hour.

However after installing the game through origin, and then using GENpatcher and Gentool to do the neccassary steps, got ready to play online.

I created a revora account and did everything neccassary, even uninstalled malwarebytes and temporarily disabled antivirus. I followed the instructions to a tee.

But when I fill out my information, I get could not connect to online servers message, then the game crashes and i get a "your game encountered a serious problem error", then the game closes.

My setup is fine, I run everything at max on it so its not  aspec thing.

Could anyone help me?

Cheers!

I feel you.

What game are you trying to connect with?

The fact that the game crashed suggests there's something wrong with the install.

BTW did you forward your ports?  If you don't it will be a pain in the ass when you connect.

Weird phenomenon, I just connected but it took me 3 tries and the server has been buggy.

This hasn't happened before, and makes diagnosing very difficult.  There's a "cnc connection test" available somewhere that you can run and it should check everything is good on your end.  If it is you might want to just keep trying.
