Quick question about Staff forums and passwords?

Are all staff forums password-protected?

If so, then the Team Revenge staff boards are open to anyone :oh:
If not, then I don't seem to have access to all the boards that I should (since I'm asked for a password I don't know on others)...

Any help please?

All staff forums need the user to be in the 'Project Team' member group. Some staff forums are password protected.

You can opt to password protect it. I spoke with Rygar about it, but i want Mig to set the password, so i need to talk to him.

By the way, the Staff boards are not open to anyone, just Project usergroup and above.

Mig is away on holiday (and not modding) this week BTW.

And for the TA forums, could I please be PMd the password if I'm still allowed to betatest etc?

Well, fair enough; but I've seen Tom about on these forums several times, and coupled with the number of views this topic has had, I'm willing to bet one of those was his...

Can't you just make the TR staff forums use a usergroup?

would make life much easier...

Thats my idea...the problem is permission masks in IPB work differently than phpBB. I know Tom can override permission masks, so unless other admin disagrees, i think its the best solution...id do the same with my staff boards, but its too much work.

BTW shorten your sig too. Keep the DDay Image or use the 2021 and DDay buttons.

Can someone of the TR staff pm me the password to the staff forum of dday. I'm locked out :worried:

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
