C&C:Online was undergoing maintenance after the game's 27th of February patch. This was done to make the switch from the old C&C:Online launcher to the brand new Tacitus possible, which is no longer a launcher and just boots up with the game itself. It will not have this issue. See the setup guide on how to install Tacitus.

Hello guys,
since 1 week I have problems with Tiberium Wars + Kane's Wrath.
I am operating on Windows 11.
When I open the launcher and I start to open the hooked games, I get this message: CA public key patching routine failed
Then the game works fine so far, but it crashes when I try to save a campaign or skirmish with an out of memory message.
I run from steam or directly from the game folder, I uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Steam does not find anything, when I check the files via steam.
I uploaded the error messages in the attachment below.
Maybe someone has an idea what to do?
Any help would be great.

Ok, the search function got me no result for "tacitus"

You can also use the update pulldown / button in the C&C Online interface. Then the new update will appear...just download and install.
For my Win11 and EA hosted game there was a warning before the installation. I selected...options....and then installation was possible. Works fine so far ...but I get a message at the startup of the game with regard to the graphics memory....
Anyhow...works fine so far.

Try to delete your old replays from the game documents folder to fix the out of memory error.
