Hi guys,

 

Please help! I get this error when attempting to install the TacitusInstaller (file attached), any ideas? Thanks!

I don't get an error message when I install it. However, after attempting to install the program 4 or 5 times, restarting windows, etc. I still have no icon on my desktop and no local installation of this program. So confused. It says it's "successfully installed" every time I run the installer, but the program is nowhere on my system. Checked in the start menu, documents, "add or remove" programs option, nothing. Running Windows 11 Enterprise version 24H2.

For the first issue, you must run the installer as administrator, since your game is installed in a system path which required elevated privileges.

For the second issue, the Tacitus client is plug and play. There are no launchers anymore. It just writes its `dsound.dll` file at the appropriate location in the game's installation directory. Just launch the game and login.

 

Also, some issues were resolved in the Tacitus installer. Please download it again from the website.
