Hello there everyone!

I'm having problems with adding a custom image inside of the game!

Goal: Create a Custom Sauron Button image (currently it's just pink)

What I already did so far:

1.) Created a DDS with an Alpha Channel inside Photoshop and then exported it as DDS again

2.) Converted the DDS to TGA

3.) Upload both DDS and TGA to the main BIG mod file.

4.) Mapped the image inside of the INI file

5.) Connected the Mapped Image to the Hero/Character (Sauron)

Here's a brief and short explanation in a video:

(I've also attached a photo for your reference!)

Any help would be amazing!

You don't need to have both .tga and .dds in your game

the game usually only use .dds files (even if it's saying .tga in stuff like mappedimages)

if you have trouble with photoshop dds plugin for alpha channels or quality you can use paint.net it has native support for dds

when you want to add new models or textures to the game, they need to be referenced inside the asset.dat, you can look online for some asset.dat guides

it's kinda hard to detail everything in a post

Thanks I've researched about asset.dat! I see I'm trying to edit it but I think I need what's called an Asset Builder? I've tried to search in Third Age modding website.

I tried to download it and I think the link is broken!

I can't download it. Is there any other site that I can download the Asset Builder?
