Hello. After the relatively recent EA update of the games, GenTool does not support the newer version of the game. It is recommended to download Genpatcher and apply its fixes and downgrade the game, so that you can play online again.

Dear all,
I hope you have a wonderful evening and I am sorry to come up with this topic again.
I know there are multiple threads rearding this already but me and a friend of minewere unable to solve this issue.
We are encountering this issue via different plattforms:
- EA - Generals ZH TUC
- Steam - Generals ZH TUC
We're both using Gentool v.8.9 / Windows 10.
The game was running as admin / SP3 pack in every try.
We have no mods installed.
Reinstalled the game already in EA and Steam several times.
Secondly just a few months ago I was able to play with some other friends without any issue.
If you need any information please let me know!
