Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

@Yuri'sArmy
For almost *every* game, there always seems to get made (or started) a Star Wars and a Star Trek mod.
Yet, to the best of my knowledge, nobody ever attempted a RA2 Star Trek mod... That was why the thought came to my mind

Heh, then mine will be the first... sort of. It will have a skirmish mode that replaces the current YR units with Star Trek units. There's also one for Star Wars units too.

I'd be the person you could compare against, as if their voxel was worse than mine, there is something seriously wrong. I don't think I even know how to do normals.Hey cool! We haven't had this much enthusiasm since VGP1!

20% of the marks go towards it so it's best to do something for it, even if you the build in Auto normal and then edit it accordingly afterwards it could make all the difference.
Look at me, I'm talking like i'm an expert at this...
...i've only entered one VXL GP

Really, if ppl want to know how to do them, I cannot recommend Godwin's tutorial enough.
Not only does it contain all the materials and instructions you need, but it also includes an explanation of what they are and how they work, as well as an example for you to follow.

Although such hand-painting isn't "perfect" like the new 3ds2vxl normals, it does allow more finely detailed and sculptured vxls.
For examples of what hand-painted normals can look like, check out the voxels on the DDay website, here at Revora.

Chrono loony had worked on a ST mod 1-2 years ago, it was surface based though, not with the space vessels.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
