Did you move your installation directory of RenX to somewhere? All that that error means is that Windows can't find the target that your shortcut points to. It needs to know where the correct file is to launch Gmax/RenX.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

I know, RenX Installed itself into the file place correctly under:
C:\gmax\gamepacks\westwood\RenX
and still it wont work!!!?!

Here is where the .ink links to:
%GMAXLOC%gmax.exe -a gamepacks\WestWood\RenX\splash.bmp -i gamepacks\WestWood\RenX\gmax.ini -p gamepacks\WestWood\RenX\plugin.ini
and it "starts in" %GMAXLOC%
now any ideas?

do a search of your drive for mltgen.dlt, then place it in C:\gmax\stdplugs... If you can't find it on your HD post here and I'll send you a copy of mine.
