This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

The M-22 (called the locust by all you brits) WAS used, just not too much. The US developed it in '44, but did almost nothing with it, because the gun couldn't shoot through wet paper. However, the brits took it and modified it a bit and dropped a dozen of them with the paratroopers during Operation Varsity - March, '45. (A single locust was credited with more than 100 enemy kills)
bow before my might.

According to "our" info..
T9E1 - M22
Early in 1941 GMC, J. Walter Christie, and Marmon Herrington were asked to submit designs for an air transportable tank. The T9E1 by Marmon Herrington won the contract and was standardized as the M22 "Locust". Locust was the name given to this tank by the British - not the Americans. Americans refered to this vehicle as the M22. Despite rumors, M22 tanks WERE NOT airdropped into Normandy. In fact, the U.S. did not finish designs for the proposed transport plane until after WW2. The plane in the photo showing the M22 being loaded was a Fairchild XC82 and was taken in 1945. Other tests were done using a Douglas C54 in late 1944 and 45 by hanging the tank under the plane. These were much publicized. The photo at the right showing airborne troops attacking with the M22 is staged. All production M22 carried the same specifications.
So the actual use of the M22 during WW2 is subject to debate. Perhaps you've mistaken the M22 for the Tetrarch.

"The Locust's baptism of fire came during Operation Varsity on March 24, 1945. Aimed at crossing the Rhine River, Varsity was the largest airborne combat assault of the war, involving the delivery of the U.S. 17th Airborne and the British 6th Airborne divisions, totaling almost 22,000 men in a single drop. Hamilcar gliders delivered 12 Locusts, manned by the men of the 6th Airborne Armored Reconnaissance Regiment. During the flight, the floor of one Hamilcar ruptured, and a Locust plunged with its crew to their deaths in the mud of the riverbank. Half of the Locusts were lost during the landing, but the remainder provided valuable support to the British paratroopers until they were relieved."
The Brits stopped using the Tetrarch after bad performance during D-Day. It's successor (Mk VIII Harry Hopkins) was barely produced.
I see nothing of conflict in your quote... all your info. is entirely correct and doesn't contradict mine at all. It took a second look, but it says clearly that the designs for the TRANSPORT PLANE were not completed until after the war. This could very well be true. However, the Brits had their own planes which could deliver airborne tanks, having used their own in the past. To my knowledge, the American version of the 22 never even saw battle.
I'm assuming you read it wrong as I did the first time.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.
